Why I write music

Whether composing for theatre, playing on national TV, or guiding singers in rehearsal rooms, Florejan approaches each project with the same quiet intensity: to listen closely, to serve the music, and to move people—gently, through sound. At home, in his studio overlooking the woods, he writes music that invites stillness and connection. His grand piano—a family heirloom—reminds him daily that melody is more than sound: it is legacy, presence, and care.
